WINCHESTER, Conn.
— Managers at the New England Revolution and Tottenham Hotspur have seen first-hand what winchester is all about.
A winchester-based soccer club was founded in 2002 by a group of students, including one who graduated from New York University, who wanted to provide a safe and inclusive environment to learn.
They decided to start the team because they wanted to play soccer with a lot of diversity, according to team president Andrew Wiles.
They wanted to create a club that didn’t discriminate, he said.
“I want to be able to see that,” Wiles said.
“That’s what I want to see.
We want to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and we want to have that diversity of ideas.”
In 2016, winchester opened its doors to its first team of seven players.
The next year, winchelson, as the club is known, joined the team.
The club is now the highest-ranked U.S. club in the 2017 USL Pro season with a 6-2-1 record.
The team has been playing games for more than a year and Wiles says the club has a lot more players than what the average MLS team has in its roster.
Wiles said he believes the winchelds soccer team has the potential to become a force in the sport and be a catalyst for more diversity.
“The wincheld soccer club is a great example for the game of being inclusive and welcoming to everyone,” Wils said.
The wincheese soccer club also has a strong history.
Winchelds team was founded as a community team in 2001, when it hosted the first ever home-and-away match between winchester and the New York Red Bulls.WILES said he was proud to help launch winchesters soccer club.
“We wanted to have an opportunity to get a foothold in the local community, and it’s something we’re really excited about,” he said, adding the winchess soccer club has become a great addition to the local soccer community.
