By now, the first wave of players to join the New York Red Bulls have had plenty of time to prepare.
The first team, including star midfielder Sacha Kljestan, will be ready to start training this week and the rest of the squad will be getting in some extra work, but there is still a lot of time left for everyone to get ready for the preseason.

The Red Bulls are in a bit of a rebuilding mode, but with players like Kljestein and Bradley Wright-Phillips and other academy players like Jonathan Campbell and Will Bruin in the fold, the team will be looking to improve upon its record this season.
The Red Bull preseason is shaping up to be another big one.
It kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 23, and will end with the club hosting the Philadelphia Union on Sept. 2.
